TY103 Robotics with Matatalab

Service Description

Meet our very newest member in the classroom - the Matatalab robot! We fondly nicknamed it Matata :) This course introduces kids to the basics of coding in a screens-free, words-free, hands-on learning environment. Place physical blocks on a board and get Matata to follow increasingly complex commands. Then sit back and watch Matata come to life! During this course, students will navigate Matata on a treasure hunt, make a song and a Matata work of art. All this while getting into robotics and learning how to code with Matata! After this course, students will understand basic commands, sequencing, loops and functions. Topics covered during the course include the following: Math - coordinates - distance - direction - orientation Science - measurement - movement - forces - navigation Art & Music - geometric drawings - making a beat Computer Science - commands - sequencing - loops During term time, this 15-hour course is conducted over 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each. This course is also available as a holiday camp.

Cancellation Policy

You are entitled to reschedule if you notify us at least 7 days prior to the course start date. The first reschedule is free, subsequent changes are subject to a $50 admin fee. No refunds, no rescheduling and no store credit will be given for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course start date.
