TY204 Robotics with Dash

Service Description

If you don’t know Dash by now, we would be delighted to introduce you! Dash is a beloved robot that can be controlled using a programming language invented by Google called Blockly. Paired with an iPad, students will learn how to code by dragging and dropping their commands for Dash to execute. Learn the basics of coding with immediate feedback in a hands-on and collaborative learning environment. During this course, students will take Dash on great adventures into space, sing a song, choreograph a dance and create a Dash-ing work of art. After this course, students will understand basic commands, sequencing, loops and functions. Topics covered during the course include the following: Math - location - distance - direction - orientation Science - measurement - movement - forces - navigation Art & Music - create geometric art - make a song - choreograph a dance Computer Science - commands - sequencing - loops - events - functions During term time, this 15-hour course is conducted over 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each. This course is also available as a holiday camp.

Cancellation Policy

You are entitled to reschedule if you notify us at least 7 days prior to the course start date. The first reschedule is free, subsequent changes are subject to a $50 admin fee. No refunds, no rescheduling and no store credit will be given for any cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the course start date.
